Materials. Quality. Cost.

The three pillars that define every project we undertake. No compromises. No surprises. Just exceptional fitness spaces built right.

Built On Three Non-Negotiables

In the construction industry, it is commonly said that you can have quality, speed, or low cost — but only two of the three. At Fitmanz, we challenge that assumption through intelligent sourcing, specialist expertise, and a refined build process that eliminates waste.

Our MQC framework is the structured approach we apply to every project, ensuring premium-quality fitness centers are delivered at genuinely competitive prices — without shortcuts.

MQC materials quality cost overview

Certified. Tested. Built to Last.

Every material used in a Fitmanz build is selected based on performance data, durability ratings, and fitness-specific suitability. We work with certified European suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliable lead times.

Flooring Systems

Commercial-grade rubber flooring (8–20mm) for free-weight zones. Anti-fatigue foam for stretching areas. Hardwood sprung floors for studio and HIIT spaces. All materials are EN 14904 compliant.

Vulcanized rubber tiles & rolls
Shock-absorbent underlay systems
Anti-slip coatings (wet zones)
Sprung hardwood (studio grade)

Structural Materials

Load-bearing steel frameworks rated for suspended equipment. Reinforced concrete slabs for heavy equipment areas. All structural elements comply with DIN EN 1090 and relevant Eurocode standards.

Hot-rolled structural steel (S355)
Reinforced concrete (C25/30+)
Galvanized partition framing
Fire-rated partition boards

Wet Zone & Hygiene

Shower rooms, changing areas, and pool surrounds demand specialized materials. We use ceramic and porcelain tiles with anti-microbial grout, and waterproofing systems rated to DIN 18195.

R10–R12 rated anti-slip tiles
Tanking & waterproof membranes
Stainless steel drainage channels
Anti-microbial surface coatings

Ventilation & HVAC

High-performance mechanical ventilation is critical in fitness environments. We specify and install HVAC systems sized for exercise-zone air changes, humidity control, and energy efficiency.

Heat-recovery ventilation (HRV)
Commercial dehumidification
Zone-controlled HVAC

Lighting Systems

LED lighting systems designed for fitness environments — high-CRI colour rendering, glare management, and smart dimming controls. Compliant with EN 12464-1 for sports and fitness facilities.

High-efficiency LED fixtures
DALI or KNX smart controls
Emergency lighting systems

Acoustic Solutions

Sound insulation between group exercise studios, weight rooms, and adjacent spaces is essential. We use tested mineral wool, resilient bars, and mass-loaded vinyl to meet required dB reduction targets.

Acoustic mineral wool batts
Floating floor systems
Resilient ceiling mounts

Standards That Never Move

Quality assurance at Fitmanz is not a final inspection — it is a process embedded at every stage of design, procurement, and construction.

01

Design Validation

All designs are reviewed against intended use, load specifications, and building regulations before procurement begins. CAD drawings are validated against structural engineer sign-off for all load-bearing modifications.

02

Certified Procurement

All materials sourced carry CE marking and relevant EN/DIN certifications. Supply chain documentation — certificates of conformity, material data sheets, and test reports — is maintained for every project.

03

On-Site Inspection

Stage inspections are carried out at key milestones: foundations, structural framing, MEP rough-in, and final fit-out. Any non-conformances are documented and resolved before the next stage is approved.

04

Handover & Snagging

Prior to handover, a comprehensive snagging list is produced and all items resolved. We provide a full project folder including as-built drawings, material certificates, warranties, and maintenance guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fitmanz specializes in commercial fitness centers, boutique studios, corporate wellness facilities, hotel gyms, and large-scale multi-sport complexes. We have experience across all scales, from a 200 m² boutique studio to a 5,000+ m² national fitness chain branch.
Yes, Fitmanz supplies certified construction and fit-out materials independently of full build contracts. We supply commercial flooring, acoustic systems, and structural components to clients managing their own builds. Contact us for more information.
All Fitmanz projects are carried out in compliance with the applicable Landesbauordnung (state building code), DIN standards, and EU construction product regulations. We work with licensed structural engineers, building surveyors, and fire safety consultants on every project. Building permits are obtained prior to works commencing.
Structural work carries a statutory 5-year defect liability period in accordance with §634a BGB (German Civil Code). Flooring, ceilings, and specialist fit-outs typically carry 2-year warranties. Mechanical and electrical systems are warranted by the respective sub-contractor, generally for a minimum of 24 months. All warranty documents are included in the project handover folder.
Yes. While our primary market is Germany, Fitmanz has completed projects in Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Poland. We are experienced in navigating cross-border regulatory requirements and work with local compliance partners in each country to ensure full adherence to national standards.
This depends heavily on the size and complexity of the project. A boutique studio (300–600 m²) typically takes 10–16 weeks from design sign-off to handover. A medium-scale commercial gym (1,000–2,500 m²) typically takes 20–32 weeks. Large-scale facilities may require 9–18 months. These figures include fit-out and equipment installation where Fitmanz is the principal contractor.
